About the Artist

Ron Hansen

My appreciation  for art began early in my life. Throughout my school years I expressed myself through art. I enjoyed participating in school art contests and always won prize ribbons. During my high school years I was privileged to hold the position of editorial cartoonist for the school newspaper.

Having an interest in art I began working with raised stencil imaging know as Bas-relief (applying design in a raised manner). Initially I worked primarily on canvas. As people became more receptive I began creating custom design work for homes and businesses.

In addition to Bas-relief, my current interests include work on projects with unique “Old World” or “European” textures, Venetian Plaster, Skim Stone and Bellagio Faux finishes. Through the years I have collaborated on multiple projects with many talented “faux” and mural artists.

It is important to me that my designs reflect the ideas envisioned by my customers. Inspiration often comes in the form of something they already have in their home or business such as patterns from rugs or lighting, sketches, jewelry or photo images.

Recently, I have begun displaying and making available my stencil designs through my website. I have also included a showcase of some of the unique texture designs I have created for you to choose from. I look forward to developing a portfolio of personal and custom works for years to come. Stop in and look around at a growing portfolio of application, inspiration and unique creativity.

Thank You
